INTRODUCING EMERGENCY STATE FOR MORE EFFICIENT ACTING

On the occasion of flooding in the area of Novo Selo village and the Industrial zone in Donje Međurovo, the president of Palilula requested the emergency response of the competent services of the City of Nis. Flooded are about 200 houses, agricultural farms and other helping facilities.

On this occasion, the president of Palilula Municipality Boban Džunić, with his associates, director of PUC "Naissus" and Head of the Department of Agriculture of the City of Nis, visited the residents and the buildings in the affected territory. The condition of the facilities and infrastructure in this part of municipality of Palilula, according to the factual situation, requires urgent action of relevant services - was estimated by the participants in the meeting.

President of Palilula Boban Džunić expressed the concern and announced that he would ask the staff for emergencies to urgently propose the introduction of measures "emergency" in this part of the territorial organization of the City of Nis in order to ensure effective response of competent services. He pointed out that it is being 24 hous a day working to resolve the problems of villagers and promised housing and taking care of children will beon the Municipality.

The management of Palilula, at the request of the citizens, in a longer period indicates the problem of flooding areas in the village Novo Selo. Due to heavy rainfall and the occurrence of groundwater flooded is also the area to the left and right side of the tracks, according to a commercial zone in Upper Međurovo. In the cooperation with the Council of citizens, Municipal Inspection of Palilula Municipality, is constantly on the ground and regularly is informed about the situation in the affected territory. Due to the spillage of septic tanks there is a risk to the health of the population.
